World Automotive Production is 98 million units.

World 2017 automotive production statistics data recently shared by OICA. Total production increased from 95,5 M to 98M with 2%.

Here are some interesting data;

• China increase percentage is 3%. Last year the ratio was 15%.
• EU production did not change.
• South America production increased 21% after 3 years. Increasing is coming from Brazil.

Below Graph shows increase / Decrease in different regios. Even in 2009 World crisis, China increased 50% of its production from 9,3 M to 13,8 M units. The rest of the World production decreased 19% in average.

Turkish Automotive production reached uptı 1,7M in 2007 with the increase ratio of 14%.

• There was a slight increase in Commercial vehicles but passenger cars production increase ratio is 20%.
• In 2012 Turkish production decreased 10%, this is basicly come from new model program and investment launches. Between 2012 and 2017, cumulative increase is 58%

Commercial Car production ratio in Turkey increased from 1999 to 2005. After 2006 Passenger Cars Ratio increased continuously and reached upto 67% of total production.

• %1,7 of World Production is now done by Turkey. Turkey is 14th in World production competition.
• European production ratio is much more significant. In 18 years continuous increase of Turkish production share in Europe reach up to 8,2% in 2017
